    The Kothagudem area has achieved its coal production target of 129.50 lakh tonnes for the financial year with 18 days remaining. M Shalem Raju, the SCCL General Manager of Kothagudem, announced that they had produced 129.74 lakh tonnes by 13.03.2024.

    Raju credited the early completion of the target to the guidance of Chairman and Managing Director N Balaram and the advice of Director (Project and Planning) G. Venkateswara Reddy. He commended all employees, officers, and union representatives for their efforts in reaching this milestone.

    Looking ahead, Raju also revealed the production target for the next financial year (2024-25) is set at 157.50 lakh tonnes. He urged everyone to continue working towards safe production and transportation to further the company’s progress.
