Congress leader Rahul Gandhi faced criticism from the State Social Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar for speaking without knowledge and using scripted speeches. Eshwar expressed his disappointment at Rahul’s remarks made during a meeting in Khammam. Speaking at the Telangana State Secretariat Media Center, Minister Eshwar commented on Rahul Gandhi’s statements made by Congress leaders.
Rahul Gandhi, the chief of the Congress party, has been criticized for speaking with complete ignorance about the Kaleshwaram project. He made humorous remarks about the project. The completion of the Kaleshwaram project in three years has transformed the state into a land of greenery, providing a livelihood for the farmers of Telangana. It is ironic that Rahul Gandhi criticized the project, which has become the lifeline of Telangana, comparing it to a desert.
Minister Eshwar explained how various welfare programs are being implemented in Telangana in a unique way. He expressed his desire to provide a pension of Rs 4,000 to the farmers in Telangana, which is not being provided by the Congress-led states. He also highlighted the importance of irrigation projects and the need to send water tankers to drought-affected areas. Rahul Gandhi should understand the ground reality before making any comments about these issues.
The arrest of Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald case was mentioned by Minister Eshwar, who questioned why someone from the BJP team did not arrest her and claimed that it was part of a conspiracy. He also criticized the government for not implementing schemes such as Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, and Gurukul Pathshalas. He questioned why no one believes Rahul Gandhi’s words in Telangana and clarified that Bhatti Vikramarka, the leader of the SC community, had already exposed Revanth Reddy, the TPCC chief, for his personal interests.
The minister warned that such criticism should be taken seriously.
