During her election campaign in Warangal, Congress party’s candidate Konda Surekha brought smiles to the local people by riding a two-wheeler. Addressing the crowd, she stated that the people of Telangana want a change and have high hopes for the Congress to rescue them from the misrule of the BRS government. Surekha criticized the BRS leaders for exploiting the state’s resources and claimed that development in the Warangal East Constituency has stagnated under their governance.

Surekha emphasized that all the progress in the constituency happened during her time as its MLA. She pointed out that the roads and drainages in the city are in a poor condition, but the BRS representatives show little concern. She accused the BRS leaders of deceiving people with empty promises and urged her supporters to expose their failures.
