In a speech during her door-to-door campaign, Congress’ Warangal East candidate Konda Surekha urged people to be cautious of empty promises from the ruling BRS party. She criticized sitting MLA Nannapuneni Narender for failing to address civic issues and demanded that he show the development before seeking votes. Surekha also accused the government of not establishing any industries in the region, leaving local youth without employment opportunities. She highlighted the poor condition of roads, drains, and stormwater discharge. Surekha criticized the ruling party for temporary measures instead of finding permanent solutions for rainwater issues. She alleged that the party selected beneficiaries based on personal preferences rather than merit for various housing schemes. Surekha assured the people of fulfilling all the ‘Six Guarantees’ of Congress. Former MLC Konda Muralidhar Rao and TPCC secretary Meesala Prakash also campaigned for Surekha in the Warangal East constituency.
