The minister held a review meeting through video conference at the Secretariat with Siddipet Collector Mikkilineni Manu Chowdary and temple officials to discuss the preparations. She announced that the kalyanam (celestial wedding) would take place at 10:45 am on December 29, ahead of the jatara. Surekha emphasized the need for meticulous planning to ensure devotees have a smooth and joyful experience during the event.
During the meeting, she reviewed the funds allocated for temple development and urged officials to finalize all arrangements at least a week before the festival begins. She also stated that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy would soon be invited to attend the grand jatara.
To enhance the experience for visitors, the minister directed officials to maintain high standards in preparing prasadam, including laddus. She also asked the culture department to organize traditional folk performances, such as Oggukatha, every evening during the jatara to entertain and educate devotees.
With these detailed preparations underway, the event promises to be a grand celebration of devotion and culture.
