State Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy criticized the 10-year rule of the BRS government, stating that it was marked by corruption, irregularities, extravagance, and looting. He announced that the Congress party will release documents exposing the corruption in Telangana over the past decade.
During a preparatory meeting in Nalgonda, Komati Reddy, along with Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, discussed the alleged mismanagement during the BRS government’s tenure. Komati Reddy accused the BRS government of accumulating massive debt without any tangible development in the state. He mocked BRS leader KTR for releasing a white paper, calling it an attempt to mislead the public.
Komati Reddy highlighted the absence of development and cited exploitation, wasteful expenditure, and corruption as the characteristics of the BRS government’s governance. He expressed that the inquiry into corruption charges against the BRS government is expected to conclude within a few months. Despite borrowing Rs 6 lakh crore, the BRS government claimed achievements while government employees struggled to receive their salaries on time.
Komati Reddy assured the public that the Congress government, in power for the last 20 days, is committed to implementing six guarantees and providing exemplary public service. He emphasized their dedication to completing stalled projects in Nalgonda.
