Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy believes that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will not win any Parliament seats in Telangana after the Lok Sabha elections. He expressed this opinion during a conversation with media at his home in Hyderabad. According to him, the main competition in the upcoming elections will be between the Bharatiya Janatha Party and the Congress.

Venkat Reddy accused the previous BRS government, led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, of causing harm to various sectors and engaging in corruption. He stated that KCR’s family members are involved in large-scale corruption and predicted that they may end up in jail soon.

When asked about BRS members defecting to Congress, Venkat Reddy pointed out that it was the BRS representatives who chose to join Congress, not the other way around. He also mentioned that he believes only KCR’s family members will remain in the BRS party in the near future.
