G Kishan Reddy, a senior leader and Union Minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), spoke to the media on Wednesday. He said that he will follow the decision made by the party leadership. Reddy mentioned that he will assume the role of Telangana state president after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting in Warangal. He added that he will be arriving in Hyderabad today evening after his meeting with officials.
Reddy stressed the importance of making arrangements for the Prime Minister’s meeting and stated that it would be difficult to hold two positions simultaneously. There is a possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle, which may lead to Reddy resigning from his post as Union Minister. In connection to this, Party general secretary Sunil Bansal has met with Reddy.
