    The Balkampet Ellamma Ammavari Kalyanam festival began with Union Minister Kishan Reddy participating in the welfare of Ellamma’s mother. The event will last for three days and includes various programs and rituals for devotees.

    The Kalyanotsava programs started with Ganapati Puja on Monday morning, followed by meetings in the evening. The main event, Ellamma Ammavari Kalyana Mahotsava, began at 9 am today. The temple EO, K. Anjanidevi, mentioned that preparations are underway for the auspicious Mukha Nakshatrayukta Abhijit Lagna Sumuhurtam at 11:34 minutes.

    Efforts are being made to ensure that the thousands of devotees attending the festival do not face any inconvenience in the queue lines. Tomorrow, Mahashanthi Chandi Homa will take place in the morning at eight o’clock, followed by a chariot procession of Goddess Ellamma in the streets at six o’clock in the evening. The festivities will end with the Rathotsavam program.
