Union Minister and State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to a public debate. In a letter to the CM, Kishan Reddy expressed his willingness to have a debate in Kodangal, at the Masters Memorial, or on the banks of Krishna or Godavari rivers. He urged the Chief Minister to choose the time and place for a constructive discussion based on facts, emphasizing that the debate should be conducted in a respectful manner.
Kishan Reddy highlighted that all political parties have the right to participate in elections and communicate their achievements to the public. However, he criticized the use of false information to influence voters, stating that it is harmful to democracy. He also pointed out that CM Revanth Reddy’s comments about the Modi government providing only a ‘donkey egg’ to Telangana were inappropriate and condemned them.
The BJP leader emphasized that the Modi government has allocated over Rs 9 lakh crore to Telangana in the past decade, supporting his claim with examples of various projects and financial assistance. He called on CM Revanth Reddy to present accurate information to the public and engage in a meaningful discussion rather than spreading misinformation.
Kishan Reddy reiterated his support for the Modi government’s contributions to Telangana and invited the Chief Minister to present his own facts during a debate. He emphasized the importance of conducting discussions based on truth and respect, urging CM Revanth Reddy to refrain from misleading propaganda.
