Union Minister and State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy announced that a State-wide yatra will begin after Telangana Liberation Day. The yatris will meet people in every constituency in the State.

Regarding the suspended Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, Reddy stated that the national party will make a decision. He clarified that the party will contest alone in all 119 Assembly segments. An election committee will be formed and the party’s decision will be announced after its meeting. Reddy emphasized that the BJP is a cadre-based party, unlike the family-based BRS, and that BJP candidates will only be announced after consulting with the cadre.

Earlier, Reddy, along with BJP MP and OBC Morcha national president Dr K Laxman, and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender, addressed the morcha State executive and OBC morcha presidents at the mandal level. Both Dr Laxman and Kishan welcomed the Centre’s decision to reduce LPG cylinder prices by Rs 200 on the Rakhi festive eve. Dr. Laxman described it as a gift from PM Modi to women. Reddy stated that it is good news for people during the Rakhi festival and that the price cut will benefit about 33 crore poor people across the country.

Furthermore, Reddy criticized the State government for not reducing taxes on petrol like other States, causing people in the State to bear the burden of high prices.
