Hyderabad: The new state president of the Telangana BJP, G. Kishan Reddy, and his predecessor, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, appeared before the media on Thursday to show unity within the party. Both leaders denied any differences and pledged to work together to bring the BJP to power in the upcoming Assembly elections. Kishan Reddy, who was recently appointed as the party president, addressed his first press conference, with Bandi Sanjay joining him to demonstrate party unity.
Bandi Sanjay congratulated Kishan Reddy on his appointment and expressed confidence in his leadership. He stated that they would work together to end the “anti-people and corrupt rule” of the BRS. Bandi Sanjay also mentioned that there is a misinformation campaign on social media targeting him, Kishan Reddy, and the party. Both leaders urged BJP workers and the public to make the upcoming public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Warangal on June 8 a huge success.
Kishan Reddy accused certain individuals of spreading false propaganda against the BJP in order to protect the BRS. He dismissed allegations of a secret understanding between the BJP and the BRS and highlighted that in the past, it was the BRS and Congress that had electoral alliances. Kishan Reddy described the Congress and the BRS as two sides of the same coin, emphasizing that voting for the BRS is essentially voting for the Congress. He claimed that only the BJP is truly working towards fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Telangana.
In conclusion, both Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay expressed their commitment to working together and ensuring the success of the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections. They urged party workers and the public to support their efforts and attend the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Warangal on June 8.
