Union Minister Kishan Reddy joined the Temple Swachh Abhiyan programme at Kanakadurga shrine in Hyderabad. He followed PM Modi’s call to organize cleanliness activities in temples and shrines to celebrate the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. During the programme, Reddy swept the temple surroundings, collected garbage, washed the gopurams, and cleaned idols.
Afterwards, Reddy spoke to the media and expressed that Hindus have been waiting for 500 years for the fulfillment of their aspiration, which will occur on January 22 with the Prana Pratishta in Ayodhya. He mentioned that millions of Hindus worldwide are eagerly anticipating this significant event.
Reddy encouraged people to participate in the programme and clean shrines in their own areas. He emphasized that not only Hindus in India but also around the world are directly or indirectly involved in the Prana Pratishta, which will be broadcasted live. Reddy also appealed to people to decorate their houses and temples, light lamps in shrines and homes, join the ‘Mahaharati’ programme in temples, and distribute prasad.
