Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President and Union Minister, Kishan Reddy, strongly criticized the State government for selling public lands, calling it an abuse of power. He pointed out that while the government claims there is a shortage of land for housing projects and development activities, they are auctioning off public lands to private individuals. Reddy questioned why the government allocated 10 acres of land to the Congress party but not to the poor. He accused the Congress and BRS parties of colluding and illegally acquiring lands worth hundreds of crores. Reddy pledged that if the BJP comes to power in four months, they will cancel the land allotments made to BRS and Congress parties. He emphasized the importance of protecting lands for future generations and criticized the double standards of the BRS party. Reddy also alleged that the Chief Minister’s family was accumulating land in the name of followers and benamis, while selling lands that could benefit the people. Lastly, he felicitated film actor Jayasudha, who recently joined the BJP, during her visit to the party office.
