Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy predicts that the LS poll results on June 4 will bring surprises, with the lotus symbol blooming in the state as an alternate force. He believes the party will win double-digit seats based on their information.
Reddy expressed concerns about declining voter turnout in urban areas and the need for voter list revisions. He mentioned that votes had been removed just days before the polls, and the party will file a complaint with the Election Commission. Reddy also highlighted the importance of linking election voter cards with Aadhaar and called for a high-level review.
The NDA alliance is expected to win in AP and secure 400 seats nationwide, according to Reddy. He criticized the Congress and CM A Revanth Reddy, stating that people did not believe their propaganda against the BJP and PM Narendra Modi. Reddy emphasized the support from various groups in villages for the party, predicting a silent revolution in Telangana.
Reddy sees the upcoming election as a new chapter in the state’s political history, positioning the party as an alternative to the Congress and BRS. He mentioned that Telangana is facing a financial crisis due to unnecessary expenses incurred by the previous government, calling for a focus on implementing promises rather than engaging in dirty politics.
The BJP chief demanded a review of schemes like Dalit Bandhu, Kalyana Lakshmi, fee reimbursement, and Arogyasri to ensure their proper implementation and financial feasibility.
