Union Minister of Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy announced that the Centre has launched the Vikasit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra nationwide to raise awareness about the government’s schemes for the people. The goal of the BJP government is to make India a developed nation by 2047, on the completion of 100 years of independence. The Minister emphasized the need for all sections of society to unite and work towards this goal, regardless of politics, caste, religion, or language. He stated that poverty should be eradicated and infrastructure should be provided in the country.
The Yatra will continue in all villages until January 26, which is Republic Day next year. Its purpose is to create awareness about the welfare schemes and development programs of the Central government among the public and collect applications from people. The Minister urged villagers, government officials, farmers, youth, women self-help groups, and teachers to actively participate in the Yatra.
During the launch event, the Minister flagged off campaign vehicles to spread awareness about the government schemes. He released brochures related to the programs and led a pledge to make the country a “Vikasita Bharat” (developed India). Additionally, a spraying drone called Namo was launched in the presence of farmers.
In a tweet, G Kishan Reddy shared his participation in the launch of the Vikasit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra and highlighted its aim to achieve the goals of a developed India by 2047.
