Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy and MP Dr K Laxman are urging people to support the BJP in the upcoming Parliament elections for the sake of the country’s future and the future of their children.
Speaking at the ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra’ in the Secundrabad LS constituency, they criticized the Congress and BRS parties for failing to fulfill their promises to the people.
Reddy highlighted that ministers under PM Manmohan Singh’s government were jailed during the UPA regime. In contrast, PM Narendra Modi’s government has provided corruption-free governance and enhanced the country’s reputation globally over the past nine and a half years.
He emphasized that Modi has delivered on his promise of a corruption-free government and will continue to drive the country’s progress and development.
Dr Laxman expressed confidence in Modi’s leadership by citing achievements like revoking Article 370, introducing 33% reservation for women in legislatures, and abolishing triple talaq. He also mentioned the successful construction of the Ram Mandir after a 500-year struggle.
The leaders praised the redevelopment of Secunderabad railway station as a step towards bringing development to the state, following Modi’s model. They criticized the BRS party for only serving the Kalvakuntla family and accused the Congress of being loyal only to the Nehru family.
Both leaders urged voters to support the BJP in the upcoming elections, with Dr Laxman specifically calling for the re-election of Reddy in Secundrabad to ensure Modi’s return for a third term.
