The “Kisan Grameena Mela” will take place from October 9 to 11 at Padmanayaka Kalyana mandapam in Karimnagar town. Narasimhamurthy, an experienced fisheries expert, will be the chief guest at the event. The purpose of the mela is to teach farmers how to increase their income by expanding their operations into other industries such as dairy, fisheries, poultry, and goat husbandry. Posters and pamphlets were released to promote the event. Farmers will have access to modern farming equipment, hybrid seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides to improve productivity. There will also be seminars and interactive sessions with professionals in various fields. The mela will include booths selling agricultural tools, seeds, fertilizers, and goods made by women’s self-help groups. Last year’s edition of the Kisan mela received a great response, and farmers are encouraged to attend this year’s event in large numbers.
