    The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, praised the state police department for their hard work in solving cases and maintaining law and order. He also urged them to take strict action against cyber crimes.

    Speaking at the opening of a new police headquarters in Thrissur, Vijayan acknowledged the increase in cyber crimes and called on officers to be prepared to handle dangerous situations. He referred to the recent case of a woman doctor who died after being hacked at a hospital.

    Vijayan also noted that only a few officers acted against the interests of the people and have since been dismissed from service for corruption charges, immoral activities, and neglecting their duties.

    Overall, the Chief Minister congratulated the state police department and emphasized the importance of continuing to uphold justice in the state.
