    In Khammam, Nalgonda, and Warangal, officials are getting ready for the upcoming election. Candidates are working hard to win over voters. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy resigned as MLC after winning the Jangaon MLA seat, leading to a by-election with 52 candidates. The winner will serve until March 2027.

    Voting by ballot will take place on May 27 from 8 am to 4 pm. Khammam has 118 polling places and Bhadradri has 55, with 140 and 69 ballot boxes respectively. Polling equipment will be distributed on Sunday from SRBA GNR in Khammam and Ramachandra Degree College in Bhadradri.

    Khammam district has 142 POs, 142 APOs, and 284 OPOs. Bhadradri district has 66 POs, 66 APOs, and 136 OPOs. Training sessions on polling management and safety were held by master trainers. CCTV cameras will be at every polling place, and webcasting will monitor the process.

    In Khammam, there are 83,600 graduate voters, including 50,513 males, 33,083 females, and four others. Kothagudem has a total of 40,106 voters, with 22,590 males and 17,516 females. Parties are making final strategies to win over voters. The BJP, Bharata, and Congress have candidates running for the seat.

    The BRS hopes to keep the seat, while the Congress is challenging them. The BJP is confident they will win this time and are reaching out to graduate voters with their campaign.
