Kamareddy: The government spokesperson, Govardhan, mentioned that the Telangana state achieved success in the field of non-violent development. He stated that Chief Minister KCR peacefully fought for the achievement of self-governance and fulfilled the aspirations of the people. He attended the meeting held at the Kamareddy collector’s office on Thursday and spoke as the chief guest. The spokesperson mentioned that Chief Minister KCR is working towards the realization of the goals of the farmers. He also mentioned that Telangana state has achieved first place in the country in terms of progress and development after the formation of the state on June 2, 2014. He explained the various developmental programs and welfare schemes implemented by the government for the benefit of the people.
Everyone was asked to remember the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. After the formation of the state, Telangana state has stood first in terms of progress and development in various sectors. The achievements of the state in terms of progress and development were explained to the people. The spokesperson Govardhan mentioned that Chief Minister KCR has held the position of power twice in Telangana state and expressed his pride in working for the government. The Telangana state has shown courage and determination in its development with the inspiration from the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.

The government has organized various events to commemorate the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. A tribute was paid to the martyrs in this gathering. A two-minute silence was observed in their memory. The resolution of commemorating the sacrifice of the freedom fighters was unanimously adopted by the members. The families of 17 freedom fighters were honored with certificates and gifts on this occasion.
