Minister for Environment & Forests and Endowments, Konda Surekha, criticized the BRS leadership for criticizing the Congress government. She stated that the KCR family, who allegedly looted the resources of Telangana for 10 years, has no right to question the Congress’ commitment to the people. Surekha also expressed her disappointment that those who actively participated in the Telangana Movement did not benefit from the formation of a separate state, while those who opposed it gained politically and financially. She mentioned that the BRS leaders were rejected by the people in the recent Assembly polls.

Surekha participated in the Praja Palana program at Chinthal and Shiv Nagar in the 36th Division of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC). During the program, she collected application forms and addressed people’s concerns. She assured them that eligible citizens would receive Abhaya Hastham benefits.
