    Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao opened a new district collectorate and SP office in Nagarkurnool on Tuesday. This is the 19th district collectorate to be opened, with two more to come in Gadwall and Mancherial. The Chief Minister praised the employees for their work and dedication to various government projects over the last nine years, and encouraged them to maintain this spirit in the future as there is still much to be done.

    KCR reflected on Telangana’s progress over the last six and a half to seven years, despite setbacks from demonetization and the COVID-19 pandemic. He credited the state’s success to the collective efforts of officials such as the chief secretary, secretaries, DGP, police, and others. He also praised the services of employees from Panchayat Raj, Irrigation, and other departments.

    During his speech, KCR reminisced about past droughts in the region and described how it has now flourished, with Palamuru Lift Irrigation being the only task left to complete. He praised Telangana’s progress in areas such as per capita index, per capita power utilisation, IMR, MMR, and attributed the success of Kanti Velugu to dedicated work by the employees.

    Overall, KCR encouraged the employees to continue their hard work and dedication to future projects, highlighting their crucial role in Telangana’s ongoing progress.
