Hyderabad: There is concern among party leaders about whether there will be any changes in the names of BRS candidates when Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao issues B-forms to them on Sunday. Although it is officially stated that there may not be any changes and that KCR will give a “victory mantra” to the candidates, the candidates still have some fears.

On Sunday, KCR will release the party manifesto, hand over B-forms to the candidates, and hold a crucial meeting with all of them at the Telangana Bhavan. This will be the last meeting before the party, including party president K Chandrasekhar Rao, starts campaigning for the upcoming elections. The manifesto is expected to include additional benefits for different sections of society. In the evening, KCR will address the first public meeting at Husnabad.

KCR has identified constituencies where party candidates are facing internal dissension and anti-incumbency factors. He will advise them on how to overcome these issues. The candidates will also be instructed to counter all allegations made by opposition parties and focus on highlighting the government’s achievements over the past nine years and how the constituency has been developed. The emphasis will be on constituency development, and the candidates will be encouraged to make use of social media to explain why BRS should be re-elected for a third time.

BRS believes it needs to be aggressive in South Telangana districts due to potential tough competition from Congress, while the BJP could affect their chances in the GHMC limits. Additionally, the party has decided to increase the amount of Rytu Bandhu and Aasara pension and announce new schemes for BCs, STs, and minority communities. Media management will also be discussed at Sunday’s meeting.
