BRS Supremo K Chandrashekar Rao has come up with a plan to gain the support of Muslim voters in the upcoming Assembly elections. Some reports suggest that a portion of the Muslim community may shift their support to the Congress in certain Assembly segments. To counter this, KCR has instructed BRS candidates to engage with Muslim voters and inform them about the welfare and development programs implemented by the State government for their community over the past decade.
BRS leaders have accused the Congress of spreading false propaganda to attract voters in Muslim-dominated Assembly segments. They claim that some minority voters have been influenced by the anti-BRS campaign carried out by the Congress, leading to confusion among voters. The main challenge for the BRS is to address these concerns and unite the entire Muslim community under their party before the elections.
KCR has instructed party contestants to hold meetings specifically for minority voters in their respective Assembly constituencies. During these meetings, they are expected to convince Muslim voters to support the BRS in the election by highlighting the successful implementation of programs such as Shaadi Mubarak, the establishment of minority residential educational institutions, and other development activities in the State.
Muslim voters play a crucial role in more than 30 Assembly constituencies, where their support can determine the victory of candidates. BRS observers will closely monitor these meetings with minority communities in the Assembly segments to ensure a positive outcome in the elections.
KCR has already been emphasizing the BRS government’s efforts to uplift Muslims economically through various welfare schemes. Senior BRS leaders KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao have been tasked with holding meetings with Muslim organizations in Hyderabad, which have reportedly been successful.
These efforts by KCR and the BRS aim to secure the support of Muslim voters and showcase the party’s commitment to their welfare and development.
