Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao held a state Cabinet meeting on July 31 (Monday) at the Dr. BR Ambedkar State Secretariat. The meeting will cover around 40 to 50 topics, including a review of the floods and the State Government’s response to heavy rainfall.
The Cabinet will also address the impact of untimely rains on the agriculture sector and the need for alternative agricultural policies to support farmers during this season. Additionally, the damage caused by overflowing canals and rivulets to roads and transportation will be evaluated, with decisions made to restore the road network as quickly as possible.
Another topic on the agenda is the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), with discussions centered around issues such as salary enhancements for RTC employees. The state cabinet will carefully consider these matters and make appropriate decisions.
