Former Chief Minister of Telangana and BRS leader KCR has caused a stir by sending a letter to Justice Narasimha Reddy Commission regarding an inquiry into power contracts during his regime. In the letter, KCR criticized the commission for being politically motivated and questioned its fairness.

KCR denied the commission’s claims, stating that his government had provided round-the-clock quality electricity. He expressed hurt over the commission’s remarks and accused the chairman of violating rules. KCR demanded that Justice Narasimha Reddy step down voluntarily from the inquiry commission.

Responding to notices from the Electricity Inquiry Commission about the construction of power plants, KCR made strong comments criticizing the inquiries into power purchase agreements and plant construction. He also took aim at the current CM for releasing a white paper criticizing previous governments without considering ERC verdicts.
