Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has asked the Supreme Court to cancel a judicial commission on power. The case will be heard on Monday.

KCR filed a petition in the Supreme Court to stop the electricity commission appointed by the Telangana government. The Telangana High Court had previously rejected KCR’s petition. The Justice L Narasimha Reddy Commission, which was set up to investigate irregularities in power purchases during the previous government, has issued notices to KCR twice. The Commission has asked for an explanation from KCR. Despite seeking a direction from the High Court to not be called for an inquiry, KCR’s petition was rejected. As a result, he has now turned to the Supreme Court for relief.
