Hyderabad: The BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao will begin his campaign for the Lok Sabha elections with a bus yatra starting on Wednesday from Miryalaguda and Suryapet. The party is aiming to win the majority of Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections.
During the bus yatra, KCR will conduct road shows and interact with people along the way. He will talk about the development and welfare schemes implemented during the BRS rule for the past ten years, as well as highlight the unfulfilled promises made by the Congress during the Assembly elections.
The focus of state politics will be on KCR’s bus yatra, which will run for 17 days until May 10. Party leaders have mentioned that this campaign will engage people and stimulate their thoughts. KCR had previously addressed public meetings in Nalgonda, Karimnagar, and Chevella after the party’s defeat in the Assembly elections.
During the bus yatra, KCR will be actively campaigning for over two weeks, meeting different social groups such as farmers, women, youth, Dalits, tribals, and minorities before 11 am each day. He will also hold road shows in the evenings to support party candidates.
KCR will depart for Miryalaguda on Wednesday in a special bus from Telangana Bhavan, with a convoy of around 100 vehicles expected to follow him throughout the journey. The party is making detailed plans to ensure that the road shows comply with election regulations, and arrangements are being made for his security, food, accommodation, and other needs of those traveling with him. Additionally, the BRS has prepared songs by party leaders Deshpati Srinivas and Rasamai Balkishan to be played during the yatra to make it a success.
