Hyderabad: The BRS chief, K Chandrashekar Rao, is likely to attend the budget sessions of the Assembly starting on Tuesday.

Questions were raised about whether Rao would attend the Assembly, as he had skipped the last two sessions due to rest after an injury. He has scheduled a meeting with the legislature party at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday afternoon after the House adjourns.

The Assembly is set to meet, pay respects to past members, and then adjourn. When asked if Rao would attend, senior leader T Harish Rao responded, “Let there be some suspense on this.”

According to a senior leader, party MLAs will raise issues such as government promises to the unemployed, crackdowns on job-seekers, failure to maintain law and order, suicides among handloom workers, and government negligence.

The BRS legislators will advocate for legality and demand the implementation of six guarantees. They will also address restrictions on farmer loan waivers, delayed payments of bonuses and MSP for crops, and delayed insurance payments affecting farmers.

Additionally, the MLAs will confront the government on the slow release of funds to villages and towns, poor sanitation management, public health issues, and problems faced by students due to delays in fee reimbursement dues. More issues may be discussed in the BRSLP meeting based on member suggestions.
