    Hyderabad:

BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao accused the government of being against farmers, calling it a ‘Rythu Shatru’ government. He said the new budget had no funding for important schemes like ‘Dalit Bandhu’ and ‘Rythu Bharosa’. Rao warned that his party would strongly oppose the government in the coming days.

For the first time, Rao attended the Assembly. After the budget presentation, he told the media that the government was not supportive of farmers. He pointed out that important schemes were missing from the budget. There was no money set aside for ‘Dalit Bandhu’ and ‘Rythu Bharosa’. Rao said it was like a story, not a real budget, and that farmers were being deceived.

Rao explained that he had not attended the Assembly before because he wanted to give the Congress government six months to act. However, he stated that his party would now take strong action against them.

He criticized the government for starting a new scheme, a Rs 2 lakh farmer loan waiver, calling it a drama. Rao said the budget did not reflect reality. He noted that no clear policies were formulated, no industries were named, and there was no support for women. He also mentioned that the electricity supply in the state was poor. According to him, people were unhappy with the government, and the BRS would fight for public issues until the Congress fulfilled its election promises.

Rao highlighted that his party had introduced many schemes to help millions of people economically. He accused the government of trying to suppress these efforts and labeled their policies as feudal. He criticized the Finance Minister for not introducing any new schemes in the budget and for claiming to implement existing loan waivers as if they were new initiatives.
