Union Minister G Kishan Reddy criticized the Telangana government on Saturday at a press conference in Hyderabad. He specifically targeted CM KCR, saying that he should feel ashamed for going back on his promise to make a Dalit leader the first CM of the state and provide three acres of agricultural land to landless Dalit families and double bedroom houses. Reddy challenged KCR to a discussion on the Centre’s assistance to Telangana and accused the government of becoming a real estate company. Reddy also alleged that GO 111 was repealed to distribute money across the country in the upcoming elections.
Reddy further alleged that BRS leaders have hundreds of acres of land in GO111 limits and that the BRS and Congress took away lands for their offices. He criticized the Kalvakuntla family for their thirst for land and loans not being quenched. Reddy also commented on KCR’s absence from the NITI Aayog meeting, calling it a huge loss for Telangana state. He demanded to know what was more important to KCR than attending the NITI Aayog meeting.
