Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao criticized the Congress party for trying to destroy the wealth of Telangana. He made these remarks during a public meeting in Maheswaram constituency. Rao expressed his frustration with the Congress party’s attitude of taking credit for the state’s progress while undermining its efforts.
Rao emphasized the importance of financial discipline in increasing the state’s wealth. He promised that if elected for a third term, he will prioritize increasing pensions. He urged the audience to consider their vote as a powerful tool that will determine the state’s future for the next five years.
Rao praised Sabita Indra Reddy for her efforts in establishing a medical college in Kandukur and developing canals. He assured the residents of Maheswaram that a pipeline will be constructed along the outer ring road, ensuring an adequate supply of drinking water. Additionally, he highlighted the job opportunities that will be created by the Foxconn industry, benefiting thousands of youth in the state. Rao also highlighted his government’s achievement of providing 24-hour electricity since coming into power.
Expressing his frustration, Rao mentioned that it was his government that introduced the successful Rythubandhu scheme. However, he criticized the Congress party for dismissing it as a waste. Furthermore, he warned against the removal of the Dharani system and the implementation of the Congress party’s Bhumata scheme, stating that it would lead to land grabbing.
