Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao stated that the white coat revolution will protect Telangana. He virtually inaugurated nine medical colleges in Telangana from Pragathi Bhavan. Previously, there were only five medical colleges in the state, but now there is one medical college per district. Chandrashekar Rao compared the importance of white coats to white blood cells, emphasizing their role as a shield for Telangana.

The chief minister expressed pride in the inspirational health sector of Telangana, which has become a role model for the country. He mentioned that rulers in undivided Andhra Pradesh doubted the ability of Telangana to govern, but the state has proven them wrong. Along with the medical colleges, nursing colleges will also be established in all districts.
