The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao, addressed a gathering in Siddipet constituency and expressed his gratitude towards the people for making him a leader. He emphasized that Siddipet is a model for the state and praised Minister T Harish Rao for the development in the area. KCR recalled how Siddipet has always supported him and played a crucial role in his political journey. He mentioned that the success of the Telangana agitation started in Siddipet.
KCR also highlighted the drinking water project in Siddipet, which served as an inspiration for the Mission Bhagiratha project in the state. He mentioned the Dalit Bandhu initiative, which was influenced by an incident where he gifted a cycle to a Dalit family. KCR spoke about the challenges he faced from his opponents during elections, but Siddipet voters ensured his victory with a majority of over 60,000 votes.
The Chief Minister praised Harish Rao for his exceptional work and dedication. He acknowledged Harish’s contribution in bringing development projects to Siddipet and saving the respect of the people. KCR stated that Siddipet already has essential amenities like water supply, medical and engineering colleges, but an airport is still needed. He mentioned that Harish has brought an IT hub to the area, which will be a significant asset for the state. KCR urged the people to support Harish Rao and ensure his victory with over one lakh votes.
