Manakondur MLA Highlights Farmers’ Welfare Efforts by Congress Government
Manakondur MLA Dr. Kavvampalli Satyanarayana has stated that the Congress government is committed to improving the welfare of farmers. He emphasized that supporting farmers is a top priority for the government.
On Tuesday, the MLA inaugurated new buildings constructed by the Primary Agricultural Credit Society in Devampalli village, located in the Manakondur mandal. During the event, he explained how the Congress government has introduced loan waiver schemes to help farmers manage their financial burdens.
In Devampalli village alone, 177 farmers have benefited from the loan waiver program. Out of these, 18 farmers had loans waived for amounts below Rs. 1 lakh, 74 farmers had waivers for loans under Rs. 1.5 lakh, and 85 farmers received waivers for loans up to Rs. 2 lakh.
Dr. Satyanarayana also highlighted four key schemes being implemented to support the farming community. These include the “Rythu Bharosa” scheme for farmers and the “Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa” scheme aimed at agricultural laborers. These initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to uplifting the agricultural sector and addressing the needs of rural communities.
