BRS MLC K Kavitha criticized Congress leaders for only visiting the State during elections. She suggested that Rahul Gandhi change his name to ‘Election Gandhi’. Kavitha stated that it is illogical for leaders to visit the election-bound State, speak a few words, and then leave. She said the people of Telangana are well aware of the political situation.

Kavitha praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for bringing prosperity to the State. She mentioned that the State was previously facing drought and other problems. Kavitha also highlighted the visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, stating that it shows the strength of the BRS. She urged them to witness the development in Nizamabad district and not disturb the peaceful atmosphere.

Kavitha mentioned that the SRSP project, initiated by Jawaharlal Nehru, was completed by the BRS government. She criticized the Congress for starting projects and leaving them pending for generations. In contrast, she praised the BRS government for completing the Kaleshwaram project in three and a half years.

Kavitha highlighted the government’s focus on BCs (Backward Classes). She mentioned that while the Congress only provided one BC hostel in Nizamabad during its 65-year rule, the Chief Minister provided 15 hostels. She emphasized that the BRS government prioritizes BCs and provides scholarships to 8,000 BC students for higher studies abroad.

Kavitha urged people to think about whether they should believe leaders who only talk politics or those who work for them even when there are no elections. She questioned Rahul Gandhi’s silence on the AP Reorganisation Act in Parliament and why he and Sonia Gandhi did not object when the PM opposed Telangana formation.
