The comments made by the TPCC president about farmers not needing 24-hour free electricity have caused controversy. BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha responded to these comments on Twitter. She questioned why any political party would have a problem with providing 24 hours of free electricity to farmers. She criticized the TPCC president for suggesting that only 3 hours of free electricity supply to agriculture was enough, calling it irresponsible.

Kavitha expressed shock at the Congress party’s stance and asked why they are unable to provide 24-hour free electricity to farmers in any state where they are in power. She directly questioned Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Congress party, asking why they want to do injustice to Telangana farmers. Kavitha assured that BRS will always protect the interests of farmers and stand by them.
