BRS MLC K Kavitha accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of prioritizing the vote for note case over women’s employment. She criticized the GO3 policy, claiming it hindered women’s reservation rights. Kavitha called on Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan to revoke the GO, citing it as detrimental to women. She also demanded the government provide a white paper detailing women’s job placements from recent recruitments.
Kavitha expressed concern that GO3 would harm the opportunities of SC, ST, and BC women. She questioned why Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi could hold positions in Parliament while Telangana women were restricted to household chores or limited job prospects. Accusing the Chief Minister of ignoring the people’s concerns in favor of Delhi’s interests, Kavitha highlighted the need for more equitable employment opportunities for women in the state.
