The joint Karimnagar district has been experiencing heavy rains for the past seven days, causing disruptions to normal life. The rains have been continuous since Monday night in Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalli, and Jagtial districts. The Mid Manair reservoir has received a significant inflow of 7500 cusecs of water, reaching 15 TMC out of its total capacity of 27 TMC. The floodwater has also affected farms in Vankayagudem and disrupted traffic in Rangaraopet.

In Konaraopeta mandal, the Nimmapally Mulavagu project has become waterlogged due to heavy rains, causing it to overflow and flood nearby areas. This has led to the suspension of traffic to Mamidipalli, Bausaipet, and Vattimalla villages.

The movement of trains between Kazipet Ballarsha sections was briefly disrupted on Tuesday morning. Temporary repairs were made to restore train services.
