    The KantiVelugu programme, introduced by the Telangana State government, is making a significant impact on the lives of the poor. ZPTC Venkatram Reddy and Sarpanch Narshimulu attended the programme in Kammadanam village of Shadnagar constituency on Monday. The programme has been successfully completed in 10 villages under the supervision of Burgula PHC.

    So far, 5682 people have been tested, and 800 of them have been given reading glasses. Glasses have been ordered for 540 people, and 214 people have been referred to the respective hospital for an operation. The programme provides free medical check-ups with experienced eye specialists and offers spectacles, medicines, and eye drops free of charge to those who need them.

    ZPTC Venkatram Reddy highlighted that the Telangana State government introduced the KantiVelugu programme completely free of cost, keeping in mind the problems faced by the poor. Sarpanch Narshimulu added that the programme is making a significant impact on people with eye problems by providing them with free medical check-ups and spectacles.

    The event was attended by several officials, including Mandal Youth President Ravinder Reddy, Gram Panchayat Secretary Ashok Kumar, Deputy Sarpanch Amarnath Reddy, Ward members Sarala Kumar, Rameshwari, Annapurna Srinivas Reddy, B. Padmamma, K. Chennaiah, Education Committee Chairman Bhawani Singh, VRA Naresh, ANM Varalakshmi, Anganwadi teachers Veermani, Sabera, Asha activists, and others.
