Kadiyam Srihari accuses Congress of exaggerating Medigadda damage in Warangal

Station Ghanpur MLA and former deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari criticized the Congress for trying to gain political advantage by exaggerating minor structural damage at the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP). He spoke to the media in Hanumakonda on Wednesday, noting Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s verbal attacks on Opposition leaders. Srihari suggested that Revanth had lost his composure as CM, unable to handle criticism of his ‘Six Guarantees’ policy.

Srihari defended the Kaleshwaram project, stating that it had received praise globally and boosted Telangana’s reputation. He accused the Congress of unfairly criticizing the project and urged the government to repair the Medigadda barrage for the benefit of farmers. Srihari also dismissed allegations of undermining the Congress government, suggesting they were a distraction from the party’s failure to fulfill election promises.

The former deputy chief minister advised Revanth to use more respectful language as CM. He announced that BRs leaders would visit the Kaleshwaram project on March 1 to counter the Congress’ claims, with MP Pasunuri Dayakar, former MLAs Challa Dharma Reddy, and Aroori Ramesh in attendance.
