    Warangal MP Pushes for Railway Development in Kazipet

    Warangal MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya, along with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other MPs, met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Delhi on Friday. The purpose of the meeting was to request the establishment of an integrated railway coach factory in Kazipet.

    During the meeting, Dr. Kavya raised concerns about the Nashkal-Hasanparthi and Nashkal-Chintalapalli bypass railway lines. She urged the minister to ensure that these projects do not negatively impact the development of Warangal’s tri-cities. The MP also stressed the need to propose alternative alignments to protect farmers in the region from potential losses.

    Dr. Kavya highlighted several ongoing and planned railway projects in Telangana. She informed the minister about the advanced wagon manufacturing unit being set up in Kazipet and the planned expansion of railway platforms. Alternative proposals for bypass lines were also presented to address local concerns.

    The Railway Minister reportedly responded positively to all the issues discussed. Dr. Kavya mentioned that the railways had already announced the establishment of a periodic overhauling workshop in Kazipet. Following this announcement, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy submitted a formal letter to reiterate the request for a railway coach factory.

    The MP explained that the establishment of a coach factory is not just a development goal but a long-cherished aspiration for the people of Kazipet and the entire state of Telangana. This sentiment was strongly conveyed to the Union minister during the meeting. The CM and Telangana MPs also expressed their gratitude and honored the minister for his time and attention.
