BRS Leader Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar Criticizes CM Revanth Reddy
Former Chief Whip and BRS district president Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar has accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of focusing only on electoral gains. Speaking at a press conference at the BRS district office in Hanamkonda on Monday, Bhaskar claimed that despite Reddy’s statements, his actions were politically motivated.
Bhaskar alleged that Reddy had unlawfully arrested BRS leaders and used public meetings to make false accusations against senior BRS leaders KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao. He also commented on the nervousness of Kadiyam Srihari, suggesting that Srihari was fearful of potential by-elections after leaving BRS. According to Bhaskar, if elections were held, KCR’s candidate would win overwhelmingly in Ghanpur.
Criticizing Srihari’s past as a minister, Bhaskar accused him of misleading the public and ordering violent actions against his opponents. He challenged Srihari to resign as an MLA, contest on a Congress ticket, and prove his strength in elections. Bhaskar was confident that by-elections would happen and that BRS would win with a huge majority. He also warned that the public was ready to teach Reddy a lesson through their votes.
Former MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah also criticized Reddy’s leadership, calling his 15-month rule a complete failure. He accused the CM of having the most criminal cases among all chief ministers and claimed that Reddy took loans worth ₹1.62 lakh crore only to send money to Delhi. Rajaiah further accused Srihari of corruption and betrayal, stating that Ghanpur had developed under BRS, but Srihari had now turned against the party. He reminded the public that Reddy had previously made insulting remarks about Srihari’s caste and even encouraged violence against defectors. While Srihari might have forgotten, he said, the people had not.
Former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy also issued a strong warning to Revanth Reddy, stating that if he continued to use disrespectful language against KCR’s family, he would receive similar responses. He claimed that those who admired KCR for developing Telangana would ensure Reddy’s downfall. He even referred to Reddy as a “descendant of Godse,” accusing him of having a destructive and manipulative mindset.
