The Telangana Junior Doctors Association (JUDA) in Hyderabad will begin boycotting outpatient duties starting Monday as part of an indefinite strike to address various demands. Junior doctors across the state will join the strike, resulting in a boycott of outpatient services, elective surgeries, and ward duties, according to a press release issued by JUDA.

The decision to strike comes after unresolved issues regarding working conditions, pay scale, and safety of junior doctors. Despite multiple discussions with authorities, there has been no satisfactory resolution to their demands, stated JUDA president Dr. Sai Sri Harsha. The strike will continue until their issues are comprehensively addressed, with emergency services remaining operational.

JUDA has organized protest programs and demonstrations wearing black badges and clothing to highlight their demands. They have also met with government officials to seek solutions but have decided to go on an indefinite strike from Monday due to lack of response from the government.

The junior doctors regret any inconvenience caused to patients and the public but feel compelled to take action to ensure their concerns are addressed.
