Jogulamba Gadwal: State Tourism Minister Sri Nivas Goud visited the historical Jogulamba Temple in Alampur. Sri Nivas Goud inspected the development works being carried out at the temple premises.
For the convenience of devotees, the Tourism Department has taken up various initiatives such as food courts, annadanam centers, toilet blocks, banquet halls, canteens, 21 guest rooms, and electrification of the temple. Minister Sri Nivas Goud revealed that these basic amenities have been provided at a cost of Rs. 50 crores. The preparations for parks, beautification works, and completion of Tungabhadra Ghat works have been ordered to be completed by August, in time for the upcoming festival. Collector Valluri Kranthi and TSTDC Chairman Gellu Srinivas Yadav were also present during the program.
