BJP National vice-president DK Aruna has called on the Telangana State government to compensate the candidates who wrote the cancelled Group-1 examination. She criticized the government for not showing sympathy towards unemployed youth and claimed that the lack of biometric system usage by TSPSC has resulted in many unemployed people taking to the streets. Aruna also accused the government of negligence in conducting government job exams and demanded the resignation of the TSPSC chairman for the cancellation of the group-1 preliminary exam.
