Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) will start offering B Pharmacy courses starting from the academic year 2024-25. The university will have 60 seats available for this new course.
JNTUH officials shared that these 60 seats will be divided among four different departments. Each department—pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical chemistry, and pharmacognosy—will have 15 seats.
Dr. Shobharani, who is the Head of the Pharmacy Department at JNTUH, mentioned that students in the B Pharmacy course will be taught by experienced teachers. The university also has modern labs for practical learning. After finishing the course, students can look forward to good job opportunities in well-known pharmaceutical companies within the State. The university’s placement department will help students find these jobs.
