Hyderabad: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), a nationwide organization, is set to begin a three-day national members conclave in Hyderabad starting this Friday.
The event will be held at the Wadi-e-Huda Grounds, located at Pahadi Shareef. It is based on the theme of ‘Justice and Equality’. Over 15,000 JIH members are expected to participate in the gathering. More than 1,500 volunteers have been assigned to help manage the event.
Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, the chief organiser of the conclave, shared with the media that the last all-India members’ conclave of JIH was also held in Hyderabad back in 2015, under the leadership of Late Maulana Jalaluddin Umari. This year, the event will be led by the current president of JIH, Syed Sadatullah Husaini.
S Ameenul Hasan, the programme convenor and vice president of JIH, mentioned that the conclave will focus on important social, educational, and economic issues. It will provide members an opportunity to connect, learn, and renew their commitment to building a peaceful and just society. There will also be discussions on national and international topics, social development, and Islamic education.
In addition to these sessions, a special exhibition called ‘IDRAK Tahreek Showcase’ will highlight over 100 community and social development programmes successfully operating across the country. Beside the conclave, a business expo organized by Rifah Chambers of Commerce will take place, featuring around 200 businesses from across India. This expo will offer excellent opportunities for networking and business growth.
