    Hyderabad: Following the tragic deaths at Rau’s IAS coaching center in Delhi, the State Jawahar Bal Manch (JBM) has called on the State government to take strict action against coaching institutes in Hyderabad that are not following safety regulations.

    In a statement to the media, JBM state chairman M Rishikesh Reddy highlighted that thousands of young people in Hyderabad are taking coaching for various competitive exams in buildings with questionable safety standards. He mentioned that he had previously discussed this issue with the GHMC commissioner, urging them to enforce the norms to prevent similar incidents in Hyderabad. He also brought this issue to the attention of city in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.

    Reddy urged the government to identify coaching centers operating in unsafe buildings and those not following safety norms. He demanded that these centers be penalized and their permissions canceled before any further incidents occur.
